BOSTON — The Boston Celtics have so many players who can score in bunches, often watching them play feels like the basketball version of whack-a-mole.
Just when it seems one player is contained, up pops another one to make plays. And when a defensive adjustment is made to limit that player, another one emerges causing problems.
It has been that kind of a season for the Boston Celtics, and it was that kind of Game 1 with the contributions of many factoring in Boston’s 107-89 Game 1 victory.
