The impact of Kristaps Porzingis' most recent injury on the C's, NBA Finals

DALLAS — The job of winning an NBA title for the Boston Celtics appears as though it’ll end similarly to how it has played out for most of this postseason run - without a healthy Kristaps Porzingis.
The Celtics released a statement Thursday afternoon confirming the worst: Porzingis suffered yet another knee injury that’ll keep him out indefinitely.
Porzingis’ most recent injury, which occurred at the 3:27 mark of the third quarter in Boston’s Game 2 NBA Finals victory over Dallas, was described as a “torn medial retinaculum allowing dislocation of the posterior tibialis tendon” in his left leg.
