The Celtics' Playoff Path Clearer after win over Raptors

Despite playing without three starters, Celtics defeat Toronto 97-93 to secure the No. 2 seed in the East, with a slim shot at the top spot.

The Boston Celtics were ahead at the half as players made their way back to the locker room. Near the end of the Green Team’s cha-cha line was Jayson Tatum, relaxed as you’ll ever find Tatum for one reason - he was not playing tonight. 

It was a rare night off for Tatum, the kind of thing that Celtics fans see as both a blessing and a burden.
