BOSTON — Following Boston’s 119-108 win, former Celtics coach Doc Rivers said he had Payton Pritchard’s name circled on the Milwaukee Bucks’ scouting report.
It was good to know that Pritchard had caught Rivers’ eye prior to the game.
The same could not be said for the Bucks players.
Even with a heads up to watch out for Pritchard, the Bucks were no match as Pritchard got everything he wanted before finishing with a season-high 28 points in leading Boston’s second-half comeback that ended with a 119-108 win.
