Luka to the Lakers, and what that means to Boston's list of title challengers
The Lakers pulled off one of the biggest trade blockbusters ever in acquiring five-time All-NBA guard Luka Doncic from Dallas, in a multi-player trade centered around Anthony Davis.

The tremors from the Luka Doncic-to-the-Lakers trade are still being felt across the basketball landscape days after the 25-year-old mega star was shipped out of Dallas.
Regardless of whether you think the Lakers or the Dallas Mavericks won the trade, there’s little doubt that adding a generational-type talent such as Luka Doncic will be a plus for the Lakers.
No one knows what the long-term benefit of having Luka will be.
More concerning to teams like the Boston Celtics, is what Doncic’s arrival in La La land means to title-contending teams right now.
