Kyrie Irving Wants To Be Traded...And The Celtics Couldn't Be Any Happier
His departure would likely weaken a Brooklyn team that, if they grant his trade request, may be looking to rebuild vs. re-tool for a championship run.

It seems no matter what the Boston Celtics do, no matter how they go about trying to move past the former Celtic, Irving’s presence remains omnipresent at the TD Garden.
Now, it’s in the form of the trade request Irving has made, apparently ready to move on to some other NBA locale.
But the reason it’s a topic of conversation tonight is Boston’s opponent, the Phoenix Suns, are expected to be among the teams to give some consideration to pursuing the eight-time All-Star.
Irving’s talent has never been an issue when it comes to how teams view him.
But it’s all the off-the-court baggage that he brings that will give teams reason to pause or take a pass on Irving altogether.
