Jayson Tatum's Game 6 Post-Game Interview
The Boston Celtics live to play another game courtesy of Jayson Tatum's late-game heroics after what had been a miserable three quarters of play for him.
PHILADELPHIA — Jayson Tatum has been in enough NBA games to know that anything is possible.
But never has he had a night like Game 6, one in which he struggled so much for so long, only to get hot at the right time and rally Boston for a win to keep their season alive.
“Being transparent, that (bleep) was frustrating,” he said. “You want to win so bad, you want to play well. And with shots not falling and things not going your way, and you want it so bad…all it took was one (shot to go in) to get that off my back.”
Tatum missed 12 of his first 13 shots, but was 4-for-8 shooting in the fourth quarter which is when he scored 16 points - three more than the entire Sixers roster.
Here’s more from Tatum on his memorable Game 6 performance.
