Jaylen Brown slices up Hawks defense, secures Game 1 victory for Boston Celtics
Jaylen Brown, playing for the first time since cutting his hand which required five stitches, has no problem shredding the Hawks defense. He finished with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds.
BOSTON – When Jaylen Brown suffered a cut that required five stitches to close, that wasn’t what concerned folks.
It was the ginormous wrap he had on it, akin to what you would expect to see when someone might be a digit or two short before the injury.
But upon his return to action, Brown looked very much like the pre-injury Brown.
And that was bad for Atlanta, which had no answer for containing Brown who shredded the Hawks defense in Boston’s 112-99 Game 1 victory over Atlanta.
