How do the Celtics look heading into the All-Star break?

BOSTON — As the final horn sounded and the Boston Celtics emerged with a 116-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs, the unofficial halfway point of the season was in the books.
The victory improved Boston’s record to 39-16, four games off the blistering pace they were on a season ago.
But this just-before-the-All-Star break victory, fueled by their defense, which is usually among the league’s best, was very much a throwback game to a year ago when the Celtics, regardless of who was in or out of the lineup, managed to dominate play.
No Jaylen Brown.
No Jrue Holiday.
No problem for the Celtics, winners in seven of their last eight games.
While there were the usual handful of players whose play stood out, plenty of Celtics chipped in for the victory.
