CELTICS-WIZARDS: The Good, The Bad, and what was better than expected

BOSTON — There would be no controversial “no call” to speak of for the Boston Celtics. Their opponent, Washington, did not come into their matchup as one of the top teams in the league.
This was one of the few games the Celtics came into this season where they were a clear, undeniable favorite.
And for most of the game, they played like it in pulling away in the middle quarters for a 136-107 win.
After a disappointing start against the Wizards that looked eerily similar to a disappointing ending (and a loss) to Utah on Monday, Boston soon gained its footing with a 47-point scoring binge in the second.
They continued to dominate the action in the third before putting the Wizards away for the team’s fourth win in their last six games.
