Celtics keep the Heat on Ice, hands Miami its fifth straight loss
The Celtics seemingly played with more purpose than usual by blowing out the struggling Miami Heat, losers of five straight.
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics remain the hottest team in the NBA, having no problem putting away the Miami Heat.
Just another game, another win.
That’s the story the Boston Celtics would want us all to believe following their 143-110 destruction of the Miami Heat on Thursday night.
Don’t believe ‘em.
We have seen the Celtics dismantle many teams.
But considering the struggles they have had in recent years against the Miami Heat, a chance to sweep the season series right after the Heat added former Celtic Terry Rozier … this was anything but just another game.
And that is in part why this is the scariest Celtics since the ‘08 championship squad and why Thursday night was yet another reminder as to why Boston should be the odds-on favorite to win it all this season.
