Celtics continue Bucking Past Trend of losing to undermanned teams

BOSTON — As fans began to file into the TD Garden for Wednesday night’s Boston-Milwaukee matchup, scrawled across the Jumbotron were the words, ‘Different Here.’
Coming into the game, Boston’s lead over Milwaukee was in double-digits with about a month’s worth of games left to play.
The much-anticipated matchup would be without Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring), the kind of thing that usually signaled a Celtics letdown on the horizon.
But this team, no matter how many times fans find themselves feeling pulled back toward the Celtics vortex of the past when they often found ways to lose such games, they stick to the script and remind us in such moments of one thing.
