With Thursday's 127-112 win over Phoenix, the to-do list for the Celtics to win an NBA title, just got a little shorter.

BOSTON — Beating the Phoenix Suns and their super-powered triumvirate of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, is something Celtics Nation should feel good about.
But Thursday’s 127-112 win over the Suns was about more than just putting to bed another good team.
The win did more than just pad the win total; it also checked off one of the most important boxes needing to be checked off for Boston to achieve the lone goal that matters this season: winning a championship.
