Trae Young was kept in check all game by the Boston Celtics, finishing with just 16 points on 5-for-18 shooting from the field. No surprise, Boston dominated from the outset and won, 112-99.
BOSTON — Trae Young has proven himself to be one of the best players in the NBA. He led the league in total assists (741) this season, so he knows how to get others involved offensively.
But his passing acumen isn’t why he’s a perennial All-Star.
He gets buckets; a lot of them, actually.
You would not have known that in Saturday’s first round playoff matchup with the Boston Celtics.
