Brown Delivers In Overtime For The Celtics
Jaylen Brown led Boston with 37 points, fueling their win over the Los Angeles Lakers which snapped a three-game losing streak.
BOSTON – Former Boston Celtic great Paul Pierce was courtside for the latest Lakers-Celtics matchup. As the camera panned on to the Hall of Famer, he looked into the camera and repeatedly said, “Let’s Go! Let’s Go!”
Moments later, Celtics Jayson Tatum lost control of his dribble which soon wound up in the hands of the Lakers which led to a LeBron James dunk and Boston’s first double-digit deficit of the game.
The James dunk seemed to be the temporary wake-up call Tatum and the Celtics needed as Boston cut into the Lakers’ lead and ultimately tied the score at 81-all going into the fourth quarter.
The momentum swing was just what the Celtics needed as Jaylen Brown took over and eventually propelled Boston to a 125-121 overtime victory.
