Brown delivers historic performance to close out Celtics' West Coast trip

When it comes to long NBA road trips, the best teams approach it with a business-like attitude.

But for Jaylen Brown heading into the last game of the Boston Celtics’ longest road trip of the season, this game was personal … very personal.

Despite leading the NBA in scoring for the month of December, while also strengthening Boston’s status as a top-three team in the East, the league announced that the NBA’s other “JB” - New York’s Jalen Brunson - was the Eastern Conference player of the month for December.
