Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell (left calf) being out for Game 4 against the Boston Celtics was an unexpected gift from the basketball gods.

But if there’s one thing we’ve learned about these Celtics in recent years, is that when it comes to gifts they are far more benevolent than they should be.

But in this instance, they took the Cavs’ misfortune and used it to their benefit, but not quite how most would have expected.
