BOSTON — As Jaylen Brown made his way to the podium following Boston’s Game 1 win over Dallas, there was a level of seriousness to every noun, verb and adjective uttered by the Boston Celtics star.
Boston was just minutes removed from a Game 1 undressing of the Mavericks, and his play was among the keys to the runaway win.
But as he answered one question after another, there was an undeniable tone in his words that spoke to the, “We’re far from done” mindset of the Celtics.
They won a game, the first of the series.
But this isn’t about winning the first game, but rather being the first to win four.
