BOSTON — The Minnesota Timberwolves are a 35-year-old NBA franchise, known more for their woeful futility than winning.

The franchise’s greatest player ever was former Boston Celtic/Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett.

At least, it was Kevin Garnett.
